KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team posted a fourth-place finish at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge on Friday.
The Blue Raiders finished with 162 points in the 19-team 8K race. Lindsey Wilson posted an average time of 26 minutes and 20 seconds.
Nolan Foushee recorded a career-best time of 25:24.98 finishing in 19th. Justin Stearns also posted a career-best time. Stearns finished in 25:27.03 and placed 22nd. Santiago Nunez finished in 37th with a career-best time of 26:00.32. Marti Mollins came in 43rd (26:18.82) and Logan Bullock came in 48th (26:27.26).
Marcus Abel finished 74th with a time of 27:06.87 while Blake Mullins was 96th finishing in 27:39.83. Daniel Aikas placed in 105th (27:53.58), Kevin Cuin finished in 129th (28:40.03) and Jace Cowman placed 141st (29:24.03).
The Blue Raiders are back in action for the Mid-South Conference Championship on November, 3 at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green, Ky.
