ELKHART, Ind. - The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team traveled to Indiana to compete in the Bethel University meet. The Blue Raiders were up against Bethel (Ind.), DePauw University, and Aquinas University (Mich.). 

Lindsey Wilson came away with two wins, only falling to Bethel with a score of 129-156. The Blue Raiders also tabbed five event wins and three NAIA provisional standards. 

Fabio Martin Rojo and Max van Schagen each came away with two individual wins. Martin Rojo placed first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:59.38 as well as in the 500-yard freestyle, making a provisional time of 4:49.97. Van Schagen took first in the 100-yard breast with a provisional time of 59.55, and in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.17. 

The fifth first place finish for the Blue Raiders was in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:15.27. The four Blue Raiders on the relay were Clinton Eales, Martin Rojo, Jose Rivas, and Van Schagen. 

In the 100-yard butterfly, Jose Rivas placed second with a time of 52.77, and Chase Hickman finished in third with a time of 52.90. Both swimmers finished with provisional times for this event. 

The Blue Raiders will travel to Campbellsville next Saturday, November 4, to face Campbellsville and Union (Ky.) in a tri-meet.
