LEBANON, Tn. - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team fell to Providence (Mont.) 71-62 in their first matchup at the Cumberland Classic. 

Jarie Thomas led the team in points, recording 12 throughout the match, and going 6-11 in shooting. Sydnie Hall and Taylor Guess followed closely behind, each contributing nine points during the game. Claire Fleming added four assists and Amelia Hodges added three. 

On the defense, Guess tabbed seven rebounds, and Fleming and Lucy Patterson each added five. As a team, the Blue Raiders notched three blocks and six steals, with Lindsey Wilson leading over Providence in steals throughout the game. 

The Blue Raiders will be facing Oakland City tomorrow at 11 a.m. CST for their second matchup in the Cumberland Classic.
