BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team posted a third-place finish at the Mid-South Conference Championship on Friday at Phil Moore Park.
Justin Stearns finished 10th with a time of 24:15.7 while Nolan Foushee posted an 11th-place finish in 24:18.1. With their finishes, the duo has qualified for the NAIA National Championship later this month. Stearns and Foushee also earned Second-Team All-Conference honors.
Santiago Nunez finished 22nd crossing the line in 24:58.7 while Marti Molins finished in 25:11.8 to place 25th. Logan Bullock finished 30th with a time of 25:23.4 and Marcus Abel crossed the line in 25:58.9 to finish 39th.
Daniel Aikas (26:03.7) finished 42nd , Blake Mullins (26:12), placed 46th and Kevin Cuin (26:58.5) finished 60th. Jace Cowman, Zach McCaslin and Zach Jewell also competed in the 89-runner field.
Cumberlands (Ky.) won the event as Campbellsville finished runner-up.
Foushee and Stearns are set to compete at the NAIA National Championship on Nov. 17 in Vancouver, Washington.
