Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team is returning home with an 81-75 win against Johnson (Tenn.) this evening.
Five Blue Raiders broke double digits in points this evening, with Sydnie Hall recording 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Jarie Thomas added 13 points, Amelia Hodges added 12, Jordyn Stephens had 11, and Taylor Guess rounded off the double digit points with 10. On the offense, Lucy Patterson led with five assists, and Stephens, Patterson, Gracie Borders, and Thomas each tabbed one offensive rebound apiece.
Defensively, Patterson led the team in defensive rebounds with nine, and a handful of Blue Raiders added blocks, including Hall, Stephens, and Patterson, as well as Guess and Thomas.
Lindsey Wilson led in steals over Johnson with eight, as well as in blocks with five. Johnson led in rebounds with 44 over the Blue Raiders' 35, but lacked in shooting, with the Blue Raiders outshooting the Royals with a shooting percentage of 47.6% from the floor.
The Blue Raiders will be back in Tennessee next weekend for the Cumberland Classic, with their first game slated for 5 p.m. CST on November 10th against Providence (Mont.).
