CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team picked up victories over Campbellsville and Union Saturday in a meet hosted by Campbellsville.
The Blue Raiders defeated the Tigers 116-71 and picked up a 112-74 victory over the Bulldogs while picking up eight event wins.
Fabio Martin Rojo won the 800-meter freestyle finishing with a time of 8:56.22. Max van Schagen took first in the 50-meter freestyle touching the wall in 24.95. Dario Soria got the third Blue Raider win in the 200 IM finishing with a time of 2:19.39.
Jose Rivas won the 100 fly touching the wall in 59.63. The Blue Raiders took first and second in the 100 free. Van Schagen got his second win of the day finishing with a time of 54.66. Clinton Eales finished runner-up with a time of 54.83. Martin Rojo captured his second win finishing in 4:20.02 to win the 400 free.
Rivas got his second win in the 100 breast finishing with a time of 1:08.79. The quartet of Van Schagen, Chase Hickman, Martin Rojo and Angel Rivas won the 200 free relay finishing in 1:39.18.
The Blue Raiders are back in action for the Total Performance Invitational in Gambier, Ohio beginning on Nov. 16.
