COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team will be traveling to McKenzie, Tennessee this weekend to compete in the Bethel University Classic. The Blue Raiders will face Harris-Stowe (Mo.) on Friday, followed by Bellevue (Neb.) on Saturday. 

The Blue Raiders are currently sitting with an overall record of 8-2 on the season and are coming off a 68-63 win against Johnson (Tenn.). Leading the team in points so far this season is Lucy Patterson with 125, followed by Amelia Hodges with 116. Patterson also leads in rebounds with 77 and in steals with 14. Hodges leads in assists with 36, and Jarie Thomas leads the team in blocks with 13. 

The Hornets of Harris-Stowe are starting their season with a record of 2-3, most recently coming off a loss to Southeast Missouri State University. Lindsey Wilson has only faced Harris-Stowe once previously, on November 18, 2007, where the Hornets came out on top with a score of 70-65. 

Bellevue University women's basketball currently has a 4-4 record, and are coming off a loss to Kansas City in an exhibition match. Junior Gabby Moore is leading the Bruins in points with an average of 12.3 per game, followed by junior Ashytn Arnold with an average of 11.9 per game. Freshman Kaylee Denker is leading in rebounds, averaging 7.5 per game, and Moore leads in assists with an average of 3.6 per game. Arnold leads in steals with 1.6 per game, and Freshman Zakiyyah Muhammad leads in blocks with 1.5. Saturday's matchup will be the first ever meeting between the Bruins and the Blue Raiders.
