In the doubles matches, the No. 3 match between Tiago Almeida and Lucas Marques versus Dedric Ray and Guillermo Coiras saw the Gold Rush take the first game, 6-1. The No. 1 match finished next as Jacobi Bain and Nereo Suarez defeated Ilyas Kouchairi and Sebastian Junqhanns, 6-3, giving XULA the doubles point. Julius Hell and Mathieu Strauss had the set lead against Jan Silhavy and Firas Ben Chouikha, 5-4, when the match was called as the Gold Rush had already secured the point.

In singles play, Junqhanns fell to Hell, 6-4, 6-3, as Kouchairi was downed by Suarez, 6-3, 1-6. 6-1. The match ended with the No. 5 singles match as Voloshyn was defeated by Coiras, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3, showing the Gold Rush secure the 4-0 victory.

The Blue Raiders now gear up for the home opener against (RV) Huntington University (Ind.), on Feb. 25 at 1:00 p.m. CT at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
