COLUMBUS, Ga. – At the Columbus Aquatics Center, the Lindsey Wilson women's swim team completed its 2022-23 season on day four of the NAIA National Championships. The Blue Raiders grabbed two more individual All-American honors and finished in 12th place overall with 110 team points.
Azalia Gabdrakipova garnered the first top-eight placement of the day as she turned in a time of 2:04.24 in the 200-yard backstroke to secure sixth place and her first All-American accolade of the week. Then, later in the evening session, Allie Rutherford swam a time of 2:06.16 in the 200-yard butterfly, just 0.10 seconds off the school record, to earn her a second-straight All-American distinction in the event.
During the morning session of swimming, Natascha Evrinoff posted a mark of 55.17 in the 100-yard freestyle, Sara Motyl ended with a time of 2:30.60 in the 200-yard breaststroke, and Jordyn Minifie swam a 2:18.35 in the 200 butterfly, before the grouping of Gabdrakipova, Minifie, Rutherford, and Evrinoff recorded a time of 3:38.61 in the 400-yard freestyle relay to close out the week.
