INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - At Marian University Tennis Courts, the Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team ended their regular season in the same city in which it began, with a 5-2 victory over (RV) Marian (Ind.) on Friday evening.

In doubles play, Santiago Diaz and Joaquin Mersch (1-1) collected their first victory as a pairing, taking down Shadi Al Tori and Andrew Ilett, 6-3, leading into a battle in the No. 2 doubles match between Jan Silhavy and Lucas Marques (3-1) versus Ashwin Bhat and Jones McNamar, showing the Blue Raiders emerge victorious, 7-5, gathering the doubles point. The final doubles match went unfinished, as Firas Ben Chouikha and Tiago Almeida were a point behind Mark Griffin and Jona Henze, 6-5.

In the singles portion of the match, No. 48-ranked Almeida (15-0) downed Dmitrii Voshchenkov, leading into the Knights notching a point as Ilett defeated Ben Chouikha, 6-3, 6-4. No. 20-ranked Silhavy (15-0) got the Blue Raiders back in the win column with a, 6-7 (0), 6-1, 6-3 victory over Griffin, leading into Marques (11-4) downing Bhat, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, pushing the score to 4-1 in Lindsey Wilson's favor. The Knights would collect their second and final point as Mersch (2-3) fell to McNamar, 6-2, 7-5, as Diaz (2-5) brought the Blue Raiders' point total to five with his monumental 6-4, 7-6 (2), 11-9 victory over Henze, having the final score show 5-2 for the Blue Raiders.

Lindsey Wilson will now look to the Mid-South Conference tournament and wait for their seeding, unfolding from April 20 to April 23 in Bowling Green, Ky. at Warren County Tennis and Sports Facility @ Buchanon Park.
