COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference unveiled its all-conference honorees and award winners for the 2022-23 women's golf season on Tuesday morning.
Lindsey Wilson seniors Katie Biddlecombe and Megan Mann, and junior Hannah Sumner garnered first-team distinction, and senior Zofia Wojcik and junior Lauren Holeman collected second-team recognition.
This year marks the third consecutive season and fourth overall in program history with five or more all-conference selections. The handful of Blue Raider honorees also features four three-time recipients.
Biddlecombe is one of those individuals, having also been named an All-Mid-South golfer in 2021 and 2022. The Romsey, England native actively ranks 30th in the NAIA according to GolfStat and had three runner-up and six total top-ten finishes for the locals during the regular season.
She is joined on the first-team by fellow Englishwoman Mann, who was also voted an all-conference honoree in the last two seasons. Over the last four events of the regular season, Mann earned three top-five placements, including a season-best third-place effort at the Showdown at Legends in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Sumner, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, rounds out Lindsey Wilson's first-team selections. She was the lone Blue Raider to win a tournament this season, taking first place at the local's fall invitational, for which she was later named the conference's women's golfer of the week on September 5. In all, the three-time All-Mid-South collected four top-10 finishes this year.
Holeman and Wojcik both secured spots on the conference's second-team, with the latter making her third-ever appearance followed by Holeman's first.
Wojcik, a Warsaw, Poland native, had two top-15 performances during the regular season, including a fourth-place showing at the Blue Raider Fall Invitational. Meanwhile, Holeman's season-high third-place finish came in March at Lindsey Wilson's spring tournament.
As a team, the five listed above helped the Blue Raiders to seven top-fives and two event wins.
After concluding the Mid-South Conference Championships on Tuesday, the women's golf team will begin preparations for the NAIA National Championships, which are scheduled for May 23-26 in Silvis, Illinois.
