COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men and women's swim teams are set to close out their regular seasons on Saturday when they host the Highway 55 Last Chance Invitational.
Lindsey Wilson will take on Campbellsville (Ky.) in a dual that is scheduled for two sessions, 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT at the Holloway Center Natatorium.
The invitational also serves as senior day for six Blue Raiders.
Tyler Buffel and
Chase Hickman will be honored on the men's side while
Maaike Broersma,
Jordyn Minifie,
Savannah Schoeman and
Allie Rutherford will be honored on the women's side. The senior day celebration will take place prior to the start of the second session.
Lindsey Wilson last competed in a dual against Tennessee Southern on Jan. 12. The Blue Raider men won 157-55 winning 10 events in the dual. Lindsey Wilson improved to 6-2 in duals this season.
The Blue Raider women defeated Tennessee Southern 182-37 while winning every event of the dual. Lindsey Wilson improved to 5-3 in duals.
Lindsey Wilson swept the Mid-South Conference Swimmers of the Week based on performances from the Tennessee Southern dual.
Max van Schagen earned Men's Swimmer of the Week honors while Broersma was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week.
