COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's swimming teams are back in action this weekend when they travel to Versailles, Kentucky for a Mid-South Conference tri-meet with Midway (Ky.) and Indiana Wesleyan.

The Blue Raiders last competed on September 27 and 28 in the Dr. Dillery Fall Frenzy where the men placed first and the women finished second.

Indiana Wesleyan was also in attendance at the Frenzy, placing third on the men's side and first in the women's competition, despite not winning a single event.

Sergio Ybarra was dominant in the pool for Lindsey Wilson during his career debut. The freshman won all four of his individual events and swam a leg in four of the Blue Raiders' winning relays.

Dario Soria swept the backstroke events as part of his five wins, and Dan Spinola took top honors in the 100-yard breaststroke.

As for the women, Maaike Broersma finished four-for-four in her individual events and collected an additional five wins in the relays. Her teammate Nathalie Medina scored three individual wins, including an exceptional performance in the 1,650-yard freestyle, and Kirsten de Goede picked up a pair of wins in the 200-yard individual medley and 200-yard freestyle.

Swimming begins at 12 p.m. CST on Saturday inside the Falling Springs Aquatic Center.
