WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team fell in a Mid-South Conference dual meet at Cumberlands (Ky.), 90-181 on Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders were led by Sergio Ybarra, who scored two individual victories in the 1,000-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle. The freshman's winning time of 4:45.44 in the latter of the two events met NAIA provisional standards, as did his performance in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.13.

Fabio Martin Rojo collected Lindsey Wilson's only other win on the day in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 1:45.66 to set an NAIA provisional mark.

Dan Spinola and Dario Soria also garnered provisional efforts in their respective individual events. Spinola swam a 58.40 in the 100-yard breaststroke, while Soria continued to shine in the 100-yard backstroke at 54.09.

The Blue Raiders are due back in the pool on Saturday, October 26 in Elkhart, Indiana for the Bethel (Ind.) Quad Meet with Aquinas (Mich.) and Indiana Wesleyan.
