GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson junior varsity volleyball team matched its season-long winning streak with a third consecutive triumph at Georgetown (Ky.) on Tuesday afternoon.
The Blue Raiders, who defeated the Tigers in three sets back on September 20, needed only two sets – 25-19, 25-17 -- this time around to improve to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the Mid-South Conference.
Lindsey Wilson hit .279 with 24 kills and just seven attack errors. Sophomore
Natalie Wandrie produced half of the visitors successful hits, finishing with a dozen kills.
Jamie Phelps and
Gracie Friedrich each added three kills.
Ahalia Rameriz dished out 11 assists, while
Cammie Judd paced the Blue Raiders' back line with 10 digs.
From the service line,
Haleigh Wood, Judd, and Rameriz contributed two aces, apiece.
Lindsey Wilson returns home at 7 p.m. CST on Tuesday, October 15 to host Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) in a non-conference match-up.
