COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball teams hosts Cincinnati-Clermont Monday at 6 p.m. CT at Biggers Sports Center.
The Blue Raiders are off to a 3-0 start this season after defeating Pikeville 75-65 on Nov. 5. Lindsey Wilson closed out the game on a 15-2 run to secure the victory. The Blue Raiders shot 42.6 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from behind the arc.
Saniyah Shelton led the Blue Raider offense with 18 points and five assists.
Jarie Thomas,
Amelia Hodges, and
Taylor Guess were the other Blue Raiders who scored in the double digits with 14, 13, and 13 points.
Cincinnati-Clermont is 1-2 this season and is coming off a 96-85 victory over Kentucky Christian in double overtime. The Cougars were led by Tyra Murphy who scored 30 points while Olivia Crawford added 26. Bryanna Price was the third Cincinnati Clermont play to score in double figures with 20.
Monday's matchup is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
