Cycling Finishes Eighth at Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – The Lindsey Wilson cycling team finished eighth at the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships over the weekend.

The Blue Raiders tallied 332 points over the three days of competition. Colorado Mesa took home the team title with 674 points while Brevard finished runner-up with 664 points.

Caitlyn Farmer finished runner-up in women's dual slalom. Lola Petillo finished sixth while MeKenna Martin was also in the top 10 coming in 10th. Zoe March finished in the top 20 coming in 15th. Emma Ryan and Lilly Campbell round out the Blue Raider competitors in women's dual slalom coming in 23rd and 31st, respectively.

In the men's dual slalom, Robert Connelly posted a top-10 finish coming in sixth. Tiago Rogier and Connor Terblanche posted top 20 finishes coming in 15th and 19th, respectively. Ian Davis came in 23rd while Gabe Holcomb finished one spot behind. Keegan Tibbitts came in 35th.

Max Garwick finished 49th while Tayton Parker came in 61st in the men's cross country race. Garwich came in 33rd in men's short track while Lucas Poupard finished 40th.

March posted the best Blue Raider finish in the women's downhill race coming in 15th with a time of 3:55.01. Martin and Farmer also finished in the top 20 coming in 19th and 20th, respectively. Ryan placed 23rd while Campbell came in 31st.

A pair of Blue Raiders finished in the top 20 in the men's downhill race. Rogier placed 14th with a time of 3:07.37 while Holcomb finished in 3:17.19 to place 19th. Tibbitts came in 27th while Garwick finished one spot behind. Parker finished in 30th while Nicklas Haugen finished in 34th.

In the final event, Garwick, March, Parker and Petillo finished 11th in the relay race finishing with a time of 52:35.
