COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 18-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's wrestling team fell to No. 4 Cumberlands 27-19 on Senior Night Tuesday at Biggers Sports Center.

The Patriots jumped out to a 13-0 lead after winning at 103, 110, and 117 pounds. Lindsey Wilson rallied winning the next four weight classes.
Catherine Head (No. 16 at 117 pounds) started the string of victories with a first period pin of Jaclyn Hodge at 124 pounds.
Abigail Vanderheyden cut the deficit to 13-10 with a pin of Zoey Smith at 131 pounds.
Kori Campbell gave the Blue Raiders a 14-13 lead with a 10-0 tech fall over Oriyana Castex at 138 pounds. Campos (No. 14 at 145 pounds) increased the Lindsey Wilson lead to 18-13 with a 10-0 tech fall over Elena Guerena at 145 pounds. Cumberlands led 22-19 after back-to-back wins at 160 and 180 pounds. The Patriots clinched the match with a first period pin to come away with the 27-19 victory.
The Blue Raiders return to action on Sunday when they travel to the North Central Open in Naperville, Illinois.
