Blue Raiders Hit Century Mark For First Time This Season With 105-30 Victory Over CU-Harrodsburg

LEBANON, Tenn.- Lindsey Wilson hit the hardwood Friday afternoon, defeating the Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg (Ky.) Pioneers 105-30 on the first day of the Rosa Stokes Classic. 

The Blue Raider offense was firing on all cylinders today, with all 12 players who checked in, scoring and six players scoring in double figures. Jarie Thomas led all scorers with 16 points and six rebounds. Grace Brewer picked up her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 boards. Claire Fleming had 14 points going 4-4 from behind the arc as well as four steals. Emily Cox, Taylor Guess, and Isabel Garcia had 13, 10, and 10 points respectively. Natalie Gentry (9 pts.), Janiya Davis (6 pts.), Gracie Borders (4 pts.), Tyria Tanner (4 pts.), Najra Voloder (4 pts.), and RaeEllen Jones (1 pt.) were amongst the rest of the Blue Raiders who contributed to today's offensive efforts. 

In the first ten minutes of play, Lindsey Wilson started their offensive campaign at 9:23, going on a 13-0 run that lasted 2:51 after CU-Harrodsburg opened up scoring with a made three-pointer. The Pioneers answered back with a pair of three-pointers at 6:12 and 5:47 to play in the first making the score 13-9. At 5:32, Thomas laid in a basket that was assisted by Brewer to start a 10-0 run that lasted 2:34, extending the Blue Raider lead and giving them the 25-11 advantage going into the second quarter. 

Lindsey Wilson started the second quarter on a 13-0 run that lasted 3:41 with contributions from Cox, Guess, Fleming, and Gentry. It was all Blue Raiders in the second quarter holding the Pioneers to just seven points, going 1-of-8 from the field and shooting 12.5 percent. Brewer came off the bench, sparking the offense, and picked up six rebounds, two assists, and eight points in just ten minutes of play in the first half. The Blue Raiders put up 28 points extending their lead headed into halftime 53-18. 

The Blue Raider offense picked up exactly where it left off. Thomas picked up her eighth point of the night at 9:36 on an assist by Guess to open up the second half of scoring. At 4:43 Guess connects with Brewer on an easy lay-in putting the Blue Raiders up 72-22 extending the lead to 50. With 3:38 to play in the third, Isabel Garcia picks up an offensive board giving Lindsey Wilson their 20th offensive board and Garcia her first points of the ball game. The Blue Raiders outscored the Pioneers 33-5, leading 86-23 heading into the final ten minutes of play. 



With 3:29 to play in the fourth quarter, Tyria Tanner connects on a layup to put the Blue Raiders over the century mark for the first time since Oct. 31, 2023, extending the lead to 101-27. Lindsey Wilson outscored CU-Harrodsburg 19-7, giving the Blue Raiders their seventh win of the season. 

Lindsey Wilson moves to 7-2 on the season and will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm CT to take on (RV) Southeastern University (Fla.), in Lebanon, Tenn. for the second day of the Rosa Stokes Classic.
