BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team dropped a pair of matches on Friday on the second day of the Mid-South Conference Championship at Southern Lanes.
The No. 8 seeded Blue Raiders began play on Friday falling to top-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) 4-0. Pikeville took game one 176-169 and won game two 165-159. Lindsey Wilson suffered its first loss of the championship after the Bears won game three 208-158 and closed the series with a 213-193 victory in game four.
Lindsey Wilson's tournament came to an end with a 4-2 loss to No. 4 Midway in an elimination match. The Blue Raiders won game one 186-167 before the Eagles took game two 181-162. Midway jumped out to a 3-1 lead after winning game three 213-148 and picking up a 169-148 victory in game four. The Blue Raiders kept their championship hopes alive with a 210-181 victory in game five. Lindsey Wilson's championship came to an end with a 242-162 loss in game six.
The Blue Raiders will be back in action for the ISC Qualifier on March 8 in Smyrna, Tennessee.
