LIMA, Ohio -- No. 17-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis completed its trip up north today with a 4-0 loss to No. 4-ranked Northwestern Ohio at the Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center.
The Racers (7-1) took a 1-0 team lead after winning the doubles matches on courts one and three.
Mathieu Strauss and Nils Messin beat Anatoliy Voloshyn and Aldo Randazzo 6-1 in the third-seeded match. UNOH grabbed the doubles point on court one as Daniel Vishnick and Martin Stanchev beat Jan Silhavy and Miquel Perez 6-2.
Jaume Barcelo and Lucas Marques led 5-4 on court two over Malik Omarkhanov and Lucas Perez when the match was stopped following UNOH's second win in the three doubles matches.
In singles, the Racers won all three of the completed matches to win the team match 4-0.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 29, as the Blue Raiders travel to Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) for their Mid-South Conference opener in Henderson, Tennessee.
