COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team will be playing two matches on their home court this week, first taking on Georgetown College in a conference matchup on Wednesday, followed by No. 14 Union College on Thursday. 

The Blue Raiders are currently 7-3 overall and are 2-0 in conference play, coming off a 4-3 win against Campbellsville last Thursday. In singles, Jan Silhavy is 5-4 at first racket and Jaume Barcelo is also 5-4 at second racket. Miquel Perez is 6-3 at third racket and Anatoliy Voloshyn is 7-2 at fifth racket, with both being on five match win streaks. In doubles, Perez and Silhavy are 5-5 overall so far this season and are 2-0 in conference matchups.  

Georgetown is currently 3-5 overall and are 0-1 in conference play, most recently facing College of Charleston on the road. The last meeting between the Blue Raiders and Georgetown was on March 22, 2023 and the Blue Raiders won 5-2. Union currently has a 6-8 overall record and are 2-1 in conference play, most recently falling to Reinhardt 6-1 on Monday. The Bulldogs will be taking on Milligan (Tenn.) on Tuesday before facing the Blue Raiders on Thursday. Lindsey Wilson last faced Union on April 6, 2019 and fell 4-5 to the Bulldogs.

Both of this week's matchups are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. CST and will be played at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
