HARRISON, Tenn. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team took home the team title at the  Battle for the Bay Tuesday at Bear Trace at Harrison Bay.

The Blue Raiders finished with a 16-over par 592 (302-290). Lindsey Wilson posted the lowest-round of the tournament with a 290 in the second round. The Blue Raiders finished 19 shots ahead of runner-up Cumberlands.

Papatsara Niamrungrueang (76-71) and Katie Biddlecombe (75-72) finished tied for first with a 147. Niamrungrueang earned medalist honors and was the only golfer to post a score under-par in the tournament.  

Kayla Saunders (75-74) and Danielle Bekker (76-73) finished tied for third carding a  149. Megan Mann moved up one spot in the second round to finish tied for seventh with a 153 (77-76). Zofia Wojcik (85-80)  and Tara Laverty (85-80) competed as individuals and finished tied for 17th with a 165.

The Blue Raiders will return to action for the Mid-South Conference championship April 29-May 1 at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky.
