COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team defeated Marian (Ind.) on Saturday afternoon with a score of 4-1.

The Blue Raiders won the doubles point, starting with Jan Silhavy and Miquel Perez winning 6-3 over James Ashworth and Luis Sobanski on court one. On court two Lucas Marques and Aldo Randazzo defeated Jona Henze and Marc Soriano 6-3 as well. Anatoliy Voloshyn and Jaume Barcelo's match on court three against Andy Ilett and Jones McNamar went to 5-3. 

Lindsey Wilson cliched the match after completing the first four rounds of singles. Silhavy secured the first singles win over Ashworth on court one, scoring 6-4, 6-4. Marques recorded the second singles win on court three, defeating Henze in a tiebreak, Barcleo fell to Sobanski on court two also in the tiebreak. Perez rounded off the win for the Blue Raiders, taking down Soriano 6-4, 6-3 on court four. 

The next match for the Blue Raiders will be at 5 p.m. CST on Monday, April 8th at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex. Lindsey Wilson will be facing Cumberland (Tenn.) for their final conference match of the regular season and will also be celebrating senior day.
