DALTON, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team opened play at the NAIA Championship Tuesday at Dalton Country Club.

The Blue Raiders shot a 15-over par 303 in the first round on the par-72 7,043 yard course and are 11th. In the round, Lindsey Wilson started on hole 10 and totaled 54 pars and carded eight birdies.

Milan Reed carded the best round for the Blue Raiders with a 2-over 74 and is tied for 22nd. Reed opened play with six-straight pars and recorded a bogey on hole 16. He tallied two more pars as he went to hole one. Reed bogeyed hole one and the birdied hole two. After back-to-back sixes, he closed out his round with two birdies and three pars.

Toby White is tied for 32nd with a 75. White recorded two birdies in the round a was -1 after nine holes. Rio Saigal carded a 76 and is tied for 43rd. Saigal was +4 through nine holes and went even-par the rest of the round with a birdie. Callum Waugh shot a 78 and is tied for 74th while Rafe Blankenship carded a 179 and is tied for 83rd.

Lindsey Wilson begins the second round on Wednesday from hole one at 12:30 p.m. CT at Dalton Country Club.
