INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Lindsey Wilson's
Mateo Marasas broke the Men's Flying 200-meter Collegiate Track Record Sunday at the Major Taylor Velodrome.
Marasas broke the record with a time of 10.520 breaking the previous record held by Evan Boone (10.538). He also won the men's sprint tournament and the Keirin. Marasas teamed up with
Pedro Pussieldi and
Jaime Quintanilla to finish first in the team sprint competition.
Pussieldi also recorded a fourth-place finish in the sprint tournament.
Emma Balding,
Lilly Campbell,
Floriencia Haupt and
Jacob Kuper also competed over the weekend placing well in their respective categories.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Aug. 30-Sept. 1 for the Derby City Nationals in Louisville, Ky.
