MADISONVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson archery team competed on the first day of the Mid-South Conference Indoor Championship on Friday at the Western Kentucky Archery Complex.
Only men's and women's compound and fixed pins qualifying took place on Friday.
Parker Braddock posted the highest-score in the men's compound qualifying. Braddock will be the top seed in the individual shootdown on Sunday. He tallied a score of 595 (298-297) with 55 10s.
Seth Pipes finished fifth in qualifying with a 585 (291-294) with 45 10s while
Gus Burtts qualified 11th with a 574 (291-283).
Ken Parsley and
Turner Nevitt qualified 12th and 15th, respectively.
Sophia Hunziger was the highest Lindsey Wilson qualifier in women's compound. Hunziger finished sixth with a 570 (288-282) while recording 31 10s.
Emma Kist qualified 13th with a 562 (281-281) while
Alea Boyd was 15th carding a 549 (275-274).
In men's fixed pins qualifying,
Wyatt Burtts finished tied for second with a 597 (299-298) and 57 10s.
Jaden Souder finished 12th carding a 580 (289-291) with 42 10s while
Will Timmerman qualified 14th with a 569 (282-287).
Audrey Mills qualified eighth in women's fixed pins with a 572 (287-285) while
MaKenna Langley finished 14th with a 566 (289-277).
Madeline McGuire qualified 16ht with a 561 (281-260).
The second day of the MSC Indoor Championship gets underway Saturday morning at the Western Kentucky Archery Complex.
