CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The (RV) Lindsey Wilson men's wrestling team was defeated in a Mid-South Conference dual against No. 10 Campbellsville 38-10 at the Campbellsville Wrestling Facility Friday.

With the loss, the Blue Raiders fall to 7-3 in duals this season and are now 1-2 in the MSC. Lindsey Wilson captured just two victories in the dual from Chase Ayers (No. 19 at 125 pounds) and Adrian Ayala (No. 10 at 149 pounds).

Ayers started the dual with a pin of Amari Harden in just 37 seconds at 125 pounds giving the Blue Raiders a 6-0 lead. Izaeh Beavers (No. 4 at 133 pounds) made it 6-4 with an 18-9 major decision over Arlo Laxton. Drake Montelongo dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to Nick Moore (No. 16 at 141 pounds). The two were tied at 0-0 heading into the third period when Moore earned an escape point.

Ayala gave Lindsey Wilson a 10-7 lead with at 15-5 decision over Jose Milord at 149 pounds. Campbellsville closed out the dual winning the final six matches to come away with the 38-10 victory.

The Blue Raiders return to action for the first day of the Missouri Valley College Invitational on Jan. 24 in Marshall, Missouri.
