COLUMBIA, Ky.- Women's Basketball heads to Williamsburg, Kentucky Thursday for a 4 :30 p.m. CST matchup against the No. 10 Patriots of the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in the O. Wayne Rollins Center. 

Lindsey Wilson is sitting at 13-7 and 1-4 in the Mid-South Conference after coming off of two losses on their road trip to Tennessee where they fell to then-No. 9 Bethel 83-65 on Thursday and then-No. 7 Freed-Hardeman 74-52 on Saturday. Saniyah Shelton leads the offensive brigade for the Blue Raiders in conference play averaging 17.4 points alongside 6.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. Taylor Guess is second on the charge totaling 14.0 points, 4.6 boards, and 1.4 assists. 

The Patriots (18-3, 4-1 MSC) are coming off four-straight conference wins with their only MSC loss coming from No. 3 Campbellsville (Ky.). Cumberlands last win came when they defeated Cumberland (Tenn.) 71-59 on January 25. Lakin Burke leads the way for the Patriots offense in MSC play averaging 16.0 points alongside 7.2 boards. Joy Kendrick adds 14.0 points and 3.0 assists, Kassie Monday contributes 13.2 points, and 8.8 assists, with Kaylie Monday rounding out the double-digit scorers tallying 10.6 points, 5.6 boards, and 4.2 assists per game. 

February 15, 2024, marks the last time the two teams met for tip-off on the hardwood. The Patriots took the 79-57 victory over the Blue Raiders in Williamsburg. Lindsey Wilson leads the all-time record between the two schools 18-17 and looks to break their five-game losing streak to the Cumberlands with a win on Patriot territory. 

Women's basketball will tip-off at 4:30 p.m. CST on Thursday in the O. Wayne Rollins Center, which will be immediately followed by the men who take on the No. 17 Patriots at 6:30 p.m. CST.
