COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's tennis teams compete at the ITA NAIA National Team Indoor Championships in Overland Park, Kansas beginning on Friday.

The three-day tournament, hosted by William Woods University at the Overland Park Racquet Club, features eight of the top NAIA programs in both the men's and women's fields, including defending champions Georgia Gwinnett.

The No. 4-seeded Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team opens play at 8 a.m. CT, against No. 5-seeded Southeastern (Fla.). Later that evening, at 6:30 p.m. CT, the No. 6-seeded men's team faces No. 3-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan in a first-round rematch from last season's NAIA National Championships.

The Blue Raider women enter the event following a competitive season opener against NCAA Division I Eastern Kentucky. Lindsey Wilson looks to build on its strong Fall season, highlighted by multiple deep runs in ITA tournaments. Southeastern, making its first appearance against the Blue Raiders, recently fell 4-3 in an exhibition match against Saint Leo (Fla.).

On the men's side, Lindsey Wilson aims to rebound after a close 4-3 loss to Eastern Kentucky in its season opener. The Blue Raiders will look to top Tennessee Wesleyan, a program that claimed victory in their last meeting at the NAIA National Championships in May 2024. Historically, Lindsey Wilson holds a narrow 3-2 lead in the all-time series.
