COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team is ranked 19th in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Friday.
The Blue Raiders garnered 211 points in the poll and are down 10 spots from their preseason ranking. Lindsey Wilson has played in two events so far this fall. The Blue Raiders finished fifth at the Carey Collegiate on September 23 and posted a third-place finish at the Gibson Bay Invitational on Tuesday.
Keiser (Fla.) sits atop the poll with 465 points, while British Columbia is slotted second with 450 points. Dalton State (Ga.) is third with 431, Marian (Ind.), and SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) round out the top five with 422 and 404 points, respectively.
Cumberlands (Ky.) is the highest-ranked Mid-South Conference team in the poll at No. 12. The Patriots garnered 291 points. Cumberland (Tenn.) also represents the MSC in the top 25, coming in at 21st with 166 points. Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) is mentioned in the receiving votes section with 27 points.
The Blue Raiders are back in action for the Roadrunner Fall Invitational beginning on Monday at Dalton Golf and Country Club in Dalton, Georgia.
