COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Blue Raider women's swimming team fell to Cumberlands (Ky.), 163-93, on Saturday afternoon inside the Holloway Natatorium.
Natalia Gorska led-off Lindsey Wilson's winning 400-yard medley relay, then topped the field in the 100-yard backstroke with an NAIA provisional cut of 1:00.14. The junior also added a provisional triumph in the 50-yard freestyle and runner-up finish in the 200-yard backstroke.
Sara Motyl provided the second leg of the medley relay and swam to victory in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 1:07.88.
Emma Verkuijl represented the Blue Raiders' third leg of the medley relay while also claiming a 100-yard butterfly win behind a time of 1:02.89.
Hannah Woyscheszik anchored Lindsey Wilson's winning relay, while Emma Johansson,
Nathalie Medina,
Ela Cippico, and
Alejandra Martinez comprised a second-place swim for the 200-yard freestyle relay.
The Blue Raiders travel north to Elkhart, Indiana next Saturday, October 25 to face Bethel (Ind.), North Central (Ill.), and Hillsdale (Mich.).
