COLUMBIA, Ky. – On Saturday, the Lindsey Wilson men's and women's swimming teams will get a preview of the venue set to host the 2026 NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships when the Blue Raiders travel north to Elkhart, Indiana.
Inside the Elkhart Aquatics Center, Lindsey Wilson will dual Bethel (Ind.), Hillsdale (Mich.), and North Central (Ill.).
The Blue Raiders completed their first dual of the 2025-26 season last Saturday, October 18 versus Cumberlands (Ky.) and received national provisional cuts from
Natalia Gorska,
Sergio Ybarra,
Dan Spinola, and
Lorenz Hof.
Gorska currently holds the nation's ninth-best time in the 100-yard backstroke and the 10
th-best in the 50-yard freestyle. Ybarra's mark of 9:40.91 in the 1,000-yard freestyle is third-fastest in the NAIA.
According to Swimcloud's NAIA dual ratings, the Blue Raider men rank 10
th, while the women are 13
th.
Bethel's women enter at No. 5 with three dual victories carded this season. The Pilots bested Lindsey Wilson last season 150-111 with help from Aixa Recchioni, who actively boasts top-10 times in the 50 and 100-yard freestyles.
The Blue Raider men topped Bethel in 2024, led by Ybarra's three individual wins.
