SMYRNA, Tenn. – Over the weekend, the Blue Raider women's bowling team competed in two Mid-South Conference events in Smyrna, Tennessee.
In Saturday's Greater Nashville Open, Lindsey Wilson knocked down 4,297 total pins and placed 14
th out of 18 teams.
Shayla Bockelman rolled a four-game average of 167.5 with a high score of 194 in her third game to finish 52
nd overall.
Kristalyn Taylor recorded a 158.3 average to place 62
nd,
Megan Fowler (155.0) came in 67
th,
Grace Lowther (150.8) finished 72
nd, and
Lily Slack (100
th) bowled a three-game average of 147.0 to round out Lindsey Wilson's line-up.
On Sunday, the Blue Raiders ended with a pin-fall total of 3,760 to finish 16
th out of 18.
Bockelman, again, paced Lindsey Wilson with a four-game mark of 148.3 and a high score of 164.
Fowler (138.5) and Lewis (133.8) finished 86
th and 87
th, respectively, followed by Lowther (130.8) in 90
th and Taylor (131.3, three games) in 109
th.
The Blue Raiders travel to compete in the Bulldog Open, hosted by Union Commonwealth (Ky.), on November 22-23.
