BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team leads after the first day of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview on Monday at Bowling Green Country Club.
Play was halted due to darkness in the middle of the second round. The remainder of the second round and the final round will take place on Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders sit atop the leaderboard and hold a five-shot lead over Cumberlands (Ky.). Lindsey Wilson shot a 30-over-par 318 on the par-72, 5,869-yard course. The Blue Raiders are currently 10-over in the second round. Lindsey Wilson leads the tournament field in birdies with eight and has the second-most pars with 77.
Lindsey Wilson holds three of the six spots on the individual leaderboard.
Tara Laverty sits in first at 3-over after carding a 74 in round one and is currently one-over in round two. Laverty leads the tournament with four birdies.
Kayla Saunders is tied for third after carding an 80 in round one and is currently two-over in round two.
Thanaporn Buakong carded an 81 in the first round and is four-over in round two to be tied for sixth.
Henaaz Khera is 15th after carding an 84 in round one and is currently +5.
Holly Murphy is tied for 16th,
Amanda Sitohang – competing as an individual – is tied for 24th, while
Kendall Hacker, also competing as an individual, is 43rd.
The final day of the MSC Fall Preview gets underway Tuesday morning at Bowling Green Country Club.
