LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finished eighth at the Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday at E.P. "Tom Sawyer" State Park.
The Blue Raiders totaled 272 points in the men's 8K silver race and had an average time of 28:04 to finish eighth in the 24-team field. The field was comprised of NCAA DII, DIII and NAIA schools.
Freshman
Dashawn Overly recorded the top Lindsey Wilson finish with a time of 26:53.5 to finish in 27th.
Tyler Colvin finished in 31st with a time of 27:09.7, while
Alexis Palmero finished in 28:32.9 to finish 86th.
Bryce Clayton finished with a season-best 8K time of 28:52.8, finishing in 101st, while
Ashton Johnson finished right behind with a time of 28:55.1.
Mason Magyar ran a season-best 8K time of 29:02.7, placing 109th, while
Isaac Wells finished in 118th with a time of 29:23.9.
Kevin Cuin posted a season-best 8K time finishing in 29:28.9 to place 122nd.
Zach McCaslin finished in 30:53.1 and
Xavier Smith recorded a season-best time of 30:53.2 to round out the Blue Raiders.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Friday, October 24 for the NAIA Appalachian Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn.
