COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson football student-athlete
Lou Burchfield has been selected to the 2025 Mid-South Conference football Champions of Character Team, league officials announced Wednesday.
Burchfield, of Maryville, Tennessee, garners his first career Champions of Character distinction and becomes the seventh different player in program history to earn the honor from the conference.
The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches for their leadership on and off campus and for demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel's (Tenn.) Darrien Lewis, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Christian Davis, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Boston Follis, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Camron Jackson, Faulkner's (Ala.) Eli Moore, and Georgetown's (Ky.) Dustin Butler also earned the recognition.
