COLUMBIA, Ky.- Women's Basketball takes a trip to Owensboro, Kentucky on Saturday to face the Bearcats of Brescia (Ky.) at 3 P.M. CT inside the Moore Center Gym.

After a loss to the University of Tennessee Southern last Saturday, Lindsey Wilson improved to 5-2 after a bounce-back win against Kentucky Christian, 82-62. Meadow Tisdale and Amelia Hodges lead the scoring front, averaging 13.6 points per game and 10.3 ppg, respectively. Tisdale also adds 8.4 rebounds to the mix while Saniyah Shelton tacks on 9.1 points and 8.1 rebounds a contest. Taylor Guess contributes a solid 9.7 ppg and 4.9 boards, while tallying 11 steals on the season. 

Lindsey Wilson is posting 75.9 points per game on 41.5 percent from the field, holding opponents to 59.3 points on 37.1 percent from the field. The Blue Raiders post a 74.1 percent free-throw percentage, knocking down 109-of-147 from the stripe. LWU has owned the glass, outrebounding opponents by an 11.6 rebounding margin, averaging 44.3 a night. 

Brescia sits at 4-2 on the season and currently holds a three-game win streak with its most recent victory coming on Thursday against Welch (Tenn.) 78-52. Brooklyn Stewart leads the Bearcat offense, averaging 12.5 points a contest while Jenna Krampe rounds out the double-digit scoring with near double-double, posting 10.2 points and 9.5 boards a game. 

Brescia averages 65.7 points an outing on 42.5 percent from the field, 28.6 from behind the arc, and 63.2 percent at the charity stripe. The Bearcats are averaging 46.2 boards a night with 11.3 being offensive. 

October 31, 2022 marks the last contest between the two programs with Lindsey Wilson taking the 93-66 victory at home. The Blue Raiders lead the all-time series 20-5 and look to keep the 17-game win streak alive after the 26th meeting.
