COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson football team will hit the road next Saturday for its NAIA Football Championship Series Quarterfinal matchup.
NAIA officials announced the pairings for the national quarterfinals tonight following today's second round. The Blue Raiders (10-1) head to Des Moines, Iowa, next Saturday to face No. 1-ranked Grand View (Iowa) (11-0).
Next Saturday marks the fifth postseason meeting between the Blue Raiders and the Vikings. Grand View leads the all-time series 3-1 and is 2-0 at home. The two teams last met in the quarterfinals back in 2022, with Grand View picking up a 10-7 victory in Des Moines.
Lindsey Wilson defeated No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan 57-31 today in the second round. The Blue Raiders trailed 24-0 late in the second quarter before outscoring the Wildcats 57-7.
The Vikings defeated No. 16-seeded Saint Francis (Ind.) 62-20 at home. Last season, Grand View captured the NAIA National Championship and is on a 25-game winning streak dating back to 2024.
Second-seeded Keiser (Fla.) hosts No. 6 seed Marian (Ind.), No. 3 Montana Tech hosts No. 8 College of Idaho, and No. 4 Friends (Kan.) takes on No. 5 Benedictine (Kan.) in the other quarterfinal matchups.
The Blue Raiders will take on the Vikings at Mediacom Stadium on Saturday, December 6, at Noon CT.
