BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team posted a fifth-place finish at the Mid-South Conference Championship on Friday at Phil Moore Park.
The Blue Raiders tallied 109 points to finish fifth. Cumberlands (Ky.) took home the team title with 15 points while Bethel (Tenn.) finished runner-up with 84 points.
Dashawn Overly finished 11th with a time of 26:42.76 in the 8K race to earn Second Team All-Conference and earn a bid into the NAIA National Championship later this month.
Alexis Palmero posted a 23rd-place finish with a time of 28:03.81.
Mason Magyar finished in 29:05.94 to place 38th.
Bryce Clayton and
Ashton Johnson finished in 40th and 41st with times of 29:34.87 and 29:45.37, respectively.
Kevin Cuin finished in 45th with a time of 30:01.34, while
Isaac Wells placed 47th in 30:13.93.
Landon Franich,
Zach McCaslin, and
Xavier Smith round out the Blue Raider competitors at the championship.
Cumberlands' Ishak Mekideche took home the individual title while teammate Ryan Ehrler finished in second.
Overly is set to compete at the NAIA National Championship on November 21 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida.
