WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's wrestling team competed on the final day of the Patriot Duals on Saturday at the UC Volleyball Gym.

The Blue Raider black team went 1-1, falling to No. 4 Providence (Mont.) and defeating No. 5 Indiana Tech. The Lindsey Wilson blue team closed out the duals, going 4-0 on the final day with victories over Liberty (Va.), Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.), (RV) Lourdes (Ohio), and (RV) Rochester Christian (Mich.).

Lindsey Wilson Black 16 No. 4 Providence 32
The Argos jumped out to a fast start, winning the first five weight classes to take a 22-1 lead. Lindsey Wilson picked up its first win of the match via forfeit at 138 pounds. Kori Campbell (No. 9 at 145 pounds) pinned Elise Twait (No. 5 at 145 pounds) to trim the deficit to 22-11. The Blue Raiders forfeited at 160 and 180 pounds and picked up a forfeit at 207.

Lindsey Wilson Black 26 No. 5 Indiana Tech 19
Indiana Tech opened with back-to-back decisions at 103 and 110 pounds to lead 6-2. Callie Payton (No. 5 at 117 pounds) tied the dual at 6-6 with a 10-0 tech fall. The Warriors retook the lead with a 6-2 decision at 124 pounds. Lindsey Wilson won the next three weight classes to take a 20-10 lead. Jeila Ramos (No. 9 at 131 pounds) pinned Andrea Hernandez (No. 13 at 131 pounds).

Brielle Bibla (No. 13 at 138 pounds) made it 17-9 with a pin at 138 pounds. Campbell earned an 11-9 decision over Hayden Newberg (No. 8 at 145 pounds). The Warriors picked up wins at 160 and 207 pounds while Mallory Ladd (No. 15 at 180 pounds) secured the win with a pin.

Lindsey Wilson took home victories in the first four weight classes with three forfeits and a pin to lead 20-0. The Flames picked up their first win of the dual at 131 pounds. Aenaya Vines recorded a pin at 138 pounds, before Liberty won at 145 and 160 pounds. The Blue Raiders picked up forfeit victories in the final two weight classes.

Lincoln Memorial opened the dual with a pin at 103 pounds before the Blue Raiders rattled off six straight wins to lead 29-5. Following a forfeit at 110 pounds, Payton Agnell, Kalliscya Gardner, and Najette Mojica-Soto all recorded pins at 117, 124, and 131 pounds, respectively. Lincoln Memorial's other win came at 160 pounds.

The Blue Raiders got out to a 20-0 lead after three forfeits and a pin to begin the match. Lourdes earned a 4-1 decision at 131 pounds. Vines and Kamilah Nana each recorded pins at 131 and 138 pounds. Lourdes picked up a forfeit victory at 160. Lindsey Wilson closed out the dual with an Alyssa Pinkston pin at 180 pounds and a forfeit victory at 207.

Reagan Patrum and Jaelynn McIntosh opened with back-to-back pins at 103 and 110 pounds. Rochester Christian earned a pin at 117 pounds before the Blue Raiders picked up three straight forfeit victories. Rochester Christian then earned wins at 145 and 160 pounds. The Blue Raiders closed the dual with victories at 180 and 207 pounds.

The Blue Raiders are back in action for the Berg Holiday Duals on Saturday, December 13 in Tiffin, Ohio.
