OVERLAND PARK, Kan. The No. 14-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team battled fiercely but fell 4-3 to No. 9 University of Northwestern Ohio in the ITA NAIA Men's Tennis Team Indoor National Championship consolation semifinals on Saturday night.

With the match tied at 3-3, all eyes turned to the No. 6 singles court, where Lucas Marques had a chance to secure the win for the Blue Raiders. After splitting the first two sets, Marques fought hard in the deciding set but ultimately fell to Nils Messin 7-6, 2-6, 6-4, sealing the victory for Northwestern Ohio.

The Racers secured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Lucas Perez and Nils Messin defeated Santiago Passoni and Hans Schubert 6-3 at the top court, while Francisco Perez and Lucas Grana clinched the point with a 6-3 win over German Delcanto and Lucas Marques. Lindsey Wilson's Jaume Barcelo and Marcal Miret managed to take a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles, but it was not enough to secure the point.
