BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – At Southern Lanes, the Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team opened its weekend at the Mid-South Conference championships with a round of singles and doubles, and the first match of team-play.
Janna Plains led the Blue Raiders in singles competition as she bowled a second-game of 205 en route to a 17th-place finish and final pin fall of 540.
Maylee Price – 527 – earned 21
st place after starting her three-game set with a 204, and Abigail Oswald finished tied for 30
th with a total score of 484.

Grace Lowther (52
nd, 341) also represented Lindsey Wilson in the morning's session.
As for doubles, Price and Plains led the Blue Raiders with a combined effort of 1,067 pins.
In the team bracket, Lindsey Wilson went head-to-head with Midway (Ky.), falling behind by three games in the best-of-seven match. Despite staying alive to win game four 165-138, the Blue Raiders came up just short of forcing a sixth and ultimately dropped the fifth game 122-137.
Lindsey Wilson moves into the consolation bracket and will face-off against Union Commonwealth (Ky.) at 9 a.m. CST on Friday, February 21.
