BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team earned its first win of the Mid-South Conference tournament on Friday but ultimately fell in the consolation bracket.

After coming up short to Midway (Ky.) on Thursday afternoon, the Blue Raiders began day two on the edge of elimination. The first consolation match against Union Commonwealth (Ky.) ended decisively in their favor, as Lindsey Wilson rolled past the Bulldogs in four games – 121-119, 170-146, 160-143, 163-120.

The victory set up a showdown with top-seeded Phoenix in the third round where Lindsey Wilson slipped behind two games to none before rallying off a 170-158 win in the third game. Cumberland (Tenn.), however, went on to win the next two games and seal the match 4-1.
