GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up competition at the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe on Saturday.
The men's team finished ninth, accumulating 22 points, while the women's team placed 35th with a total of five team points.
On the final day of events,
Marti Molins highlighted Lindsey Wilson's efforts and earned second place in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:25.76, bringing eight points to the Blue Raiders. Molins later joined
David Requejo,
Logan Bullock, and
Justin Stearns in the 4x400m Medley Relay, where they finished 11th with a time of 10:15.97.
For the women,
Kayly Guthrie earned three points for the Blue Raiders by finishing sixth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.74. She then teamed up with
Hannah Reid,
Ta'shya Cramer, and
Anna Grasse in the 4x400m relay, where they placed eighth, adding one more point to the Blue Raiders' total with a time of 3:51.93 and breaking their own school record set back in January.
With the indoor season concluding on Saturday, Lindsey Wilson turns its attention to the outdoor portion of the 2024-25 season, which officially opens on March 14 in Williamsburg, Kentucky at the Cumberlands Early Spring Meet.
