COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finishes in first place after a record-breaking performance at the LWC Spring Invite Tuesday at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

The Blue Raiders 'A' team swung their way into the record books as they finished in first place going 53-under par 787(268-257-262) through all 3 rounds. Lindsey Wilson's 787 surpassed their previous record set back in the 2023-24 season. The Blue Raiders led all teams with Par 3's, Par 4's and Par 5's with an average of 3.04, 3.83, and 4.37. 

Lindsey Wilson's 'B' team finished in third place with a score 15 under par 825(279-276-270). They trailed just behind the 'A' team in Par 5's with an average of 4.63 and third in Par 3's and 4's with an average of 3.18 and 3.98. 

Rio Saigal set another individual record in the match, swinging 18 under par 192 (66-62-64). Saigal led all golfers in Par 3's, 5's, and Birdies with an average of 2.72, 4.17, and 20. Stanley White tied for third lowest score in school history with 13 under 197 (68-65-64) with a runner-up finish . Johan Brendenkamp, Polakrot Pawachai,Toby White, and James Gibb rounded out the top 10 for the Blue Raiders placing fourth, fifth, seventh, and ninth with a score of 201 (71-63-67), 202 (68-67-67), 203 (66,67,70), and 204 (68-67-69). 

The Blue Raiders 'B' team all finished within the top 20 with Maciej Janusiewickz, Adam Hawthorn, Charlie Jones, and Magnus Maahr with a score of 206 (72-69-65),210 (69-69-72), 210 (72-71-67), and 211 (70-72-69). Papangkorn Nuprachum who competed individually finished 23rd with a score of 216 (71-74-71). 

Lindsey Wilson will be back on the course April 7 for the Roadrunner Classic in Dalton, Georgia.
