BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team sits atop the leaderboard after the first two rounds of the Mid-South Conference Championship on Monday at Bowling Green Country Club.
The Blue Raiders carded a 6-over par 582 (287-295) and lead Cumberlands (Ky.) by 37 shots heading into Tuesday's final round. Lindsey Wilson leads in par-3 and par-4 scoring and has totaled a tournament-high 25 birdies. The Blue Raiders were one of two teams to record an eagle on the day.
Lindsey Wilson holds four spots in the top 10 of the individual leaderboard, including the top three.
Butpapaporn Sukterm leads heading into the final round after carding a 6-under par 138 (69-69). Sukterm leads the tournament in par-3 and par-4 scoring and is -4 on par 5s which ranks second. She has also recorded the most birdies with 10 and has carded an eagle.
Papatsara Niamrungureang sits five shots behind Sukterm with a 143 (70-73). Niamrungrueang is -3 on par 5s, ranking third and has the second-most birdies with seven.
Pitchayapa Pungpho is third with a 146 (71-75) while
Tara Laverty is tied for seventh with a 155 (77-78).
Kayla Saunders played in the first round and is 34th while
Holly Murphy is tied for 35th after playing in round two.
The Blue Raiders return to the course for the final round of the MSC Championship Tuesday morning at Bowling Green Country Club.
