Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team delivered a 7-0 sweep over Bethel (Tenn.) on Tuesday afternoon at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex, closing out its regular-season home slate in dominant fashion on Senior Day.

The Blue Raiders (11-3, 4-0 MSC) opened with a clean sweep in doubles play. Seniors Jaume Barcelo and Marcal Miret struck first with a 6-2 win on court two, followed shortly by Hans Schubert and Santiago Passoni, who secured the doubles point with a 6-2 victory at No. 1. Logan Engela and Aldo Randazzo capped off doubles with a 7-5 win at No. 3.

Up 1-0, Lindsey Wilson continued its control into singles action. Santiago Passoni, ranked No. 14 nationally, earned the first singles point with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Gabriel Perini at the No. 2 spot. Senior German Delcanto followed at No. 3, pulling out a tight second-set tiebreak to win 6-3, 7-6(2), pushing the lead to 3-0.

The clinch came from Schubert, who battled back from a set down to defeat Outtara Nafiralo Souleymane 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, sealing the match for the Blue Raiders.

The momentum continued with Miret notching a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5, followed by Barcelo matching that score at No. 4. Randazzo closed out the match with a 6-4, 6-1 result on court six.

The Blue Raiders are back in action at 2 p.m. CT. tomorrow as they travel to Georgetown, Kentucky, to take on Georgetown College.
