COLUMBIA, Ky. – Coming off the program's winningest season in 14 years, Lindsey Wilson women's golf has been accoladed a pair of All-America selections by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Butpapaporn Sukterm and
Pitchayapa Pungpho landed First and Third-Team honors, respectively, marking the second time in program history that multiple golfers have earned All-America status, with 2010 representing the only other instance.
Sukterm, the Mid-South Conference women's Golfer of the Year, dominated the competition from start to finish during the 2024-25 campaign. The sophomore won six tournaments, which ties Krista Burton for the second-most in a single season. She also set a new single-single program record shooting a stroke average of 71.46, besting the Burton's previous mark by over three strokes, and recording 20 rounds of par or better. Sukterm never placed outside the top-five, including a stretch of four consecutive victories and a win at the Mid-South Conference Championships in April where she shot six-under par. At last week's NAIA National Championships, Sukterm garnered All-Tournament honors behind a third-place finish after posting the program's lowest ever four-round score.
Pungpho, the Mid-South Conference women's Freshman of the Year, shined brightest in the spring for the Blue Raiders with three top-10 finishes across five events, one of which came at the conference tournament where she carded a score of two-over par to earn third place, her best finish of the season. Pungpho averaged 76.11 over 28 rounds played and tallied five rounds of par or better.
The All-American duo's efforts helped guide Lindsey Wilson to five tournament victories, the most since the 2010-11 season, and the program's second straight Mid-South Conference title.
