Butpapaporn Sukterm has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic Women's At-Large Second Team, CSC officials announced Tuesday.
Sukterm earns the honor for the first time in her career and becomes the second player in program history to earn the honor, joining Kelsey Joslyn who earned the honor in 2012.
Sukterm, a sophomore from Bang Yai, Thailand, is an Education major with a 3.54 grade point average. This season, she was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Year and the Women's Golf Coaches Association NAIA Ping Player of the Year.
She won six tournaments in 2024-25 and finished no worse than fifth place. Sukterm set the single-season stroke average record – 71.46 – and the record for total rounds of par or better for a single season and career with 20. At the national tournament, she carded a four-round score of 288 which is the best all-time for the program.
Sukterm helped lead the Blue Raiders to the MSC Tournament title this season, a seventh-place finish at the National Championship, and six tournament victories which were the most since 2009-10.
